Como alunos mais experientes da ciência esotérica sabem, os conceitos mitológicos da alquimia, embora lidar com componentes físicos, são simbólicos de processos em níveis de consciência mais sutis. Planting Symbolizes Alchemy

Germinating and caring for a Plant has much in common with the processes of antiquity known as Alchemy. Elements must be combined in appropriate measures and timing with a common and prearranged goal.

As most experienced students of esoteric science know, The mythological concepts of alchemy, although dealing with physical components, are symbolic of processes on more subtle levels of consciousness. The famous transforming of lead into gold is symbolic of the transformation of a consciousness based in dense material form into a consciousness shining with the spiritual light of the Soul. As the elements of agriculture must be combined in appropriate measures and timing with a common and prearranged goal, so must this process be used to transform our consciousness. Evolution and self development may progress naturally as time moves on, like a wild flower seed blown onto fertile soil in the field, but with the proper care of specific processes we can assist and catalyze this development, as we see in a mighty fruit tree on a prosperous plantation.

If we see the development of a personality into a reflection of its Soul in terms of a building and maturing thought-form, we can easily observe parallels in the agricultural processes. The idea inspiring a thought-form of a perfected or developed personality (or the thought form of any chosen goal) is like the seed of a plant. It does not grow into maturity and fruition alone. It requires many elements to enable proper healthy development. This seed must find a field of existence that is proper for its needs and will facilitate its healthy development. This is like the fertile earth chosen by a farmer in an area with the appropriate amounts of sun and shade for the variety of plant he is working with. Like the farmer then adding nutrition to the soil mixture, our personality or other thought-form must then be given the nutrition that it needs like a clean and active physical body, a healthy and uplifting emotional life, a strong and productive mental activity, and a perpetual influx of spiritual influences for example.

Then our personality or other though-form can develop and grow strong like the ancient trees and forests that we see all around us.

Some interesting theoretical correspondences between agricultural activity and thought-form development might be as these below.

A healthy soil composition should include NPK =

Nitrogen, Phosphorus, and Potassium in a balanced PH environment.

We can achieve this organically with =

Lime – To balance the PH environment of the acidic;alkaline quality in the soil.

Manure – For Nitrogen to ensure rapid continuous growth and green foliage.

Bone – For Phosphorus to inspire strong root development and flower blooming.

Ash – For Potassium to resist against disease and promote fruiting.

Water – Lime for PH sea.

Air – Manure for rapid and continuous growth.

The Two Paths White Magician Black Magician

One of the dangers present, if the Soul is not controlling the lower personality, is what is referred to in the comment of the Two Paths. This is the subject of the choice between White Magick and Black Magic. The difference between the two is both motive and method.
The White Magician has for motive that which will be of benefit to the group for which he is expending his energy and time. The Magician of the Left-Hand Path ever works alone, or if he at any time works with others, it is with a hidden selfish purpose. Also (whether one is working consciously as one or unconsciously as one), the Black Magician only develops the powers of the personality in the lower three worlds focused on self interest and worldly ambition. This confines him to the lower worlds and polarizes him to matter creating a magnetic pull towards Form that is perpetually increasing imprisoning him in the Great Illusion. In the other path of the White Magician, the personality is subordinated and Magick of the Great White Lodge is practiced with the focus on the whole group of Life and Light. Which opens the doorway to expansion of consciousness and development of our Soul relationship.
You ask, whether workers in Black Magic possess not an equal power? I answer, no. They can work in the three worlds, but they work from and in the plane of mind, and do not function, therefore, outside their field of endeavor, as does the Soul. They can achieve, from their proximity and identification with their working materials, results more potent temporarily and more rapid in accomplishment than the worker in the White Lodge, but the results are ephemeral; they carry destruction and disaster in their wake, and the Black Magician is eventually submerged in the resulting cataclysm.
Let us therefore remember the necessity of a correct use of the mind, and (at the same time) let us ever hold a position beyond and detached from the creative work of our minds, desires, and physical accomplishment.

Meditação é uma concentração contínua da consciência. Isso pode se manifestar de várias formas com muitos gols.

Para o aspirante de self-desenvolvimento, o objetivo é geralmente self-realização. Sem self-realização não podemos agir inteligentemente. Portanto, a meditação não é um fim, mas um meio para um fim e deve ser um pré-requisito para todo trabalho construtivo.

A Alma, o Self Verdadeiro, do aspirante foi mostrado para manifestar em existência através do mundo fenomenal, composto de corpo, emoções, e mente. Podemos querer reforçar a nossa mente, acalmar nossa mente ou emoções, ou curar nossos corpos, ou desenvolver nossa intuição ou tornar-se ciente de nossos verdadeiros potenciais, ou nosso verdadeiro eu. (Então podemos conhecer nossa "Verdadeira Vontade" como tem sido chamada e começar a nossa vida para cumprir nosso destino presente ou darmah.)

Meditation

Meditation is a continuous concentration of consciousness. This can manifest in many forms with many goals.

For the aspirant of self-development the goal is usually self realization. Without self realization we cannot act intelligently. Therefore, meditation is not an end, but a means to an end, and must be a prerequisite to all constructive work.

The Soul, or True Self, of the aspirant has been shown to manifest into existence through the phenomenal world, composed of Body, Emotions, and Mind. Before we can efficiently use our body, emotions, and mind we must know our Soul, our eternal True Self. To accomplish this it has been found useful to calm these elements which we can call our personality, and is actually composed of three bodies, our Physical Body, our Emotional Body, and our Mental Body. They are sometimes called the lower bodies or the lower worlds because they issue from the Soul, descending in sequentially denser levels of consciousness. In the most ancient esoteric schools of the East all of this manifested lower personality is composed of what is called Matter. But we have matter of different qualities and densities. Generalizing, we have a mental body composed of mental matter, an emotional or desire body composed of emotional matter, and a physical body composed of physical matter, but all are actually regions of one manifestation issuing from the Eternal Soul.

To see and know this True Self in the World of Reality, it is often taught that we sit alert and calm our physical bodies with slow rhythmic breathing and sometimes sound repetition or chanting mantra if so inspired. Each Soul may influence or inspire its lower personality to follow its own individual path of realization. But an element of development common to most is difficulty in these initial stages. The physical body does not calm easily, especially for those of us in the occidental society of the West. Our muscles will ache, our skin will itch, a fly or mosquito will bother us, and the many sounds of physical life will distract us also. This is common and the ability to continue your meditation within this chaos is a preliminary stage of development and control. The art of synthesizing these currents or withdrawing ones attention from the distractions generated by the physical senses is known in eastern yoga as Pratyahara.

As we learn to relax our physical bodies and begin to have some success in doing so, we will begin to calm our emotional body. Putting aside our reactions to events of the day. Angers, fears, joys, and desires all should be temporarily suspended during meditation time. This is more difficult than calming the body, but necessary when attempting to see Reality. Developing our ability to react calmly and with gentleness to the chaotic emotional phenomenon manifesting around us during each day will help us to be clear of distracting agitations during our meditations.

Now more difficult still, but also necessary for the apprehension of Reality, we attempt to calm our minds as much as is possible. A seemingly contradictory objective here experienced is to calm the mind to stillness but also focus strong attention upon experiencing our goal, Self Realization. Ultimately we wish to stop all thought generation and thus see beyond and rise above the mind to perceive the Reality underlying all manifesting phenomena. This sounds very difficult because it is almost impossible. The whole procedure commonly takes decades or longer.

The fact is though that ,although it may appear that all the forces around you seam to appose your development in this area, the universe wants you to succeed in this. He Universe wants your personality to see Reality and know it as Fact, so eventually the Truth becomes evident to the aspirant when the distractions of the illusions subside and the Reality of the True Self can be seen.

The process must be slightly or drastically different between different aspirants and its interpretation and conclusions must also differ for we are all different aspects of The Whole and thus see and experience it from a different angle or viewpoint, but the One Reality pervading the Whole of All is a Unity so our experiences if this reveal our common link to each other and we share a unified experience.

As we mentioned, meditation on many levels can take on many forms for many people, even with its similar goals. Other than the calming and focusing techniques we have discussed, we can use many forms of breathing, sound, mandalas, music, work, exercise, love, contemplation, or all of these. We may want to strengthen our mind, or calm our mind or emotions, or heal our bodies, or develop our intuition, or become aware of our true potentials, or our True Self. (Then we can know our “True Will” as it has been called and begin our Life Work to fulfill our present destiny or darmah.)

Our True Self or Eternal Soul is known in many traditions by many names like The Holy Guardian Angel, The Solar Angel, The Christ Consciousness, The Buddha Awareness, The Unified Field, and Field of Quantum Possibilities. As we say, to preconceive how it will or should manifest is useless because by nature your True Self is outside of Time and Space and not associated with your lower personality which is all that you consciously know at the beginning of this process. This being said, many aspirants find common qualities as they begin to perceive Reality. It is common to realize your unity with and connection to All Living Things in the Universe and also a physical and spiritual Light begins to grow on the head as our consciousness and light are synonymous.

Also one of the most important benefits of long term daily meditation is discipline and patience. Our realization of the Truth of Reality will be a slow process naturally as we reorganize our personality and will span throughout our lives and be ever progressive.

O Que É Magia ?

Em seu livro "Magick em teoria e prática" e em outros lugares, Aliester Crowley dá a definição de magia como, "A ciência e a arte de causar mudança ocorra em conformidade com a vontade". Ele continua dizendo que "cada ato intencional é um ato mágico". Estamos na Abrahadabra Laboratorio de Pesquisas apoiar e continuar este esforço para remover o aspecto místico ou incompreensível do objecto de Magia. Ritual can be simply described as Multi-Dimensional Kinetic Meditation. All meditation is

A.L.P. Notes on Magickal Tools

        Some occult scientists choose to use some traditional tools in their rituals and meditations. The main traditional magickal tools or magickal weapons of the historic esoteric schools are Ten in number.

1. The Disk is the tool of Physical energy and corresponds to the element of Earth. The design should remind the student of the Universe.

2. The Sword is the tool of Mental energy and corresponds to the element of Air. It is used to

separate the universe into categories.

3. The Cup is the tool of Emotional energy and corresponds to the element of Water. It is used to inspire the emotions of the student and cleanse the universe.

4. The Wand is the tool of Spiritual energy and corresponds to the element of Fire. It is used to extend and direct the students spiritual energy in the universe.

5. The Lamp is a symbolic tool that takes many forms such as alter candles, oil lamps, and electric temple luminaries. Its developement is actualy an inner shining forth of the Primordial Light in perpetual luminosity within the inner life of the aspirant as seen in meditation.

6. The Altar is the center of all ritual and should be perpetually visualized in the mind of the

Magician as it is the center of the Universe.The Journal is the personal record of the students meditations, rituals, dreams, thoughts, and

development. It is very useful for organizing thoughts and for reference though time. This is a very powerful Magickal Tool for transformation.

7. The Uniform is the personal set of clothing used only for ritual and meditation. Many people have found that it is useful to have such a set of clothing because it always stays clean and is also psychically separate from other areas in your life and thus psychically clean

8. The Journal is the personal record of the students meditations, rituals, dreams, thoughts, and development. It is very useful for organizing thoughts and for reference though time. This is a very powerful Magickal Tool for transformation.

9. .O Lamen is a pendant used around the neck of the Magician with a symbol representing the universe and suspended over The Heart. Many schools have used a Pentagram or a Cross upon the Lamen.

10. The Ring being an unbroken Circle reflects to form and natuer of the universe. I can be empowerer with any formula or spirit that the Magician Wills.

        The tools or weapons of the magician are normal material objects but are used to help focus the attention and will-power of the Magician. The actual Magickal tool exists in the Mental and Emotional worlds and grows in power with repeated use and meditation. For this reason, when an older model of each physical tool is destroyed to be replaced by a newer updated model, the actual Wand or Cup is not destroyed, existing in the subtler worlds. They continue to grow in strength and effectiveness within the new shell.

Appendix A : Magickal Machines

        Magickal Machines come in as many forms as our imagination can devise. Our traditional Magickal tools are all magickal machines : The Wand, The Cup, The Sword, and The Disk. Among other magickal machines are Talismata such as good fortune charms and hex bags. Mandalas for meditation are also powerful magickal machines. Runes and The Tarot are very powerful magickal machines. A Temple, magickal circle, and your personal Altar are also magickal machines.

         Magickal Machines function by interacting with your Mental body and Astral body to initiate specific responses within your universe and thus the multiverse. This occurs because the machine is designed and built for specific purposes, usually fallowing design standards established though time but the are modified as history and humanity progresses.

Also all objects also have an astral body which, in the case of the magickal machines, are modified and strengthened. As your emotions and thought forms are generated and directed to the object, the astral body of that object mutates and grows stronger.

Most objects, that are not plants or animals, have only the most primitive representation on the mental plain, but as the human magician directs meditation upon an object a thought form begins to be built on the mental plain associated with this object. Repeated meditation, attention, and specified ideas, mutate, modify, and strengthen the thought form of this object. This influences the Primal Light creating the object each moment actually making it completely different kind of object. A stick now becomes a conduit for spiritual force to radiate as a laser through multidimensional space.

        This is how the Super Magickal Machines of history (such as The Rod of Aaron, The Holy Grail, The Sword Excalibur, and others) have been created. Through repeated use and attention the magickal machine will become stronger and more effective for its purpose, just as a favorite tool might work better for a craftsman than a new one. As all of the Tree of Life is One Living Being and thus all of its parts are alive, so can all the multiverse be considered to be alive, and for this reason, as the magickal machine grows and mutates it will take on the characteristics of a living being.

Appendix B : Notes on Purifying and Consecrating of Tools

        Purification is the act of cleaning an object or space of physical and psychic energy that is not healthy for the use of the object or space.

Consecration is the act of dedicating an object or space to a specified purpose. To purify an object, physically clean it thoroughly. Then place it on your altar it in a bowl of sea-salt for twenty-four hours or as long as a whole moon cycle. During this time meditate on the object becoming clean of all unhealthy energy previously associated with it and also all energy not associated with its new purpose. Visualize strongly bright white light from the Primordial Light of the Tree of Life cleansing the object. It is also very helpful to shower the object with purified holy water. The object has a living astral body, so tell the object, “ You are purified. ” or “ In the name of The Primordial Light, I declare that you are purified. ”

To consecrate an object, first purify it, then place it on your altar with a burning candle. Hold the object in the air in front of the burning flame and say,“ I dedicate you to _____. ” (“ I dedicate you to be used for meditation on the Path of the Universe on the Tree of Life ”, or “ I dedicate you to the Element of Water. (for a ritual cup) ”), or “ In the name of The Primal Light , I consecrate you to _____. ” Meditate on and visualize the object being used for this new specified purpose.

         These are, of course, only optional suggestions based on traditional methods and experience. Many other methods and variations are available and the students should let intuition lead them to methods most suited to their individual natures.

          A Pentagrama e um simbolo de, e ligado intimamente com a Condicao Humana, porque como os quatro pontos sao influenciou pelo ponto de quinta na pentagrama, os quatro elementos do Multiverso sao influenciou pelo espirito da Luz Primordial no fenomeno humano. A.L.P. Notes on The Rituals of The Pentagrams

The Pentagram is symbolic of and closely linked to the Human Condition, because as the four points are influenced by the fifth point in the pentagram, so are the four elements of the multiverse influenced by the spirit of the primordial light in the human phenomenon. In the language of symbols, as is used in the Tree of Life for example, energy generally moves from above to influence what is below. The Primordial Light of Consciousness chooses a possibility from all quantum possibilities and is said to descend as it collapses this possibility into a dense physical manifestation. Following this language, The pentagram with the central point of spirit above the four elements represents the spirit influencing those elements, while the pentagram with the central point of spirit below the elements represents a spirit immersed in and influenced by the elements.

In our esoteric school we assign ,also, each of the four symbolic elements to one of the four main directions in space as is common in many occult traditions. Then, in Abrahadabra Laboratory of

Research, we have used the three astrological aspects of each element and the corresponding herbal remedies to generate qualities to banish and invoke as our spirit influences the

elements.

In the Airy Mental World,

For Libra we banish INDECISION and invoke PEACE.

For Aquarius we banish RADICALISM and invoke UNITY.

For Gemini we banish CONFUSION and invoke FLEXIBILITY.

In the Fiery Spirit World,

For Aries we banish IMPATIENCE and invoke COURAGE.

For Leo we banish EGOTISM and invoke WILL-POWER.

For Sagittarius we banish FANATICISM and invoke WISDOM.

In the Watery Emotional World,

For Cancer we banish INSECURITY and invoke SATISFACTION.

For Scorpio we banish OBSESSION and invoke INTROSPECTION.

In the Earthy Physical World,

For Capricorn we banish CORRUPTION and invoke SUCCESS.

To invoke energy healthy for our system or energize our personal universe the traditional method of the esoteric schools is to move around the heart of the magickal circle or sphere in a clock-wise direction (from left to right). This symbolizes growing and is also known as the direction of the Sun. This is drawing energy of the healthy Mental Airs from the East, then healthy Spiritual Fires from the South, then healthy Emotional Waters from the West, and finally healthy Physical Forms from the

North.

To banish energy not healthy for our system or purify our personal universe the traditional method of the esoteric schools is to move around the heart of the magickal circle or sphere in a counter-clockwise direction (from right to left). This symbolizes slowing and is also known as the direction of the Moon. This is casting away unhealthy Mental Airs to the East, Then unhealthy Physical Forms to the North, then unhealthy Emotional Waters to the West, and Finally unhealthy Spiritual Fires to the South. The ancient school of our inspiration is technically referred to as a Solar order because we work

with and are inspired by Light, and for this reason we always begin each circle and all operations in the

East, the direction of the rising Sun. This is also the reason that our alter is in the East and we enter the

temple walking towards the East.

In The Abrahadabra Laboratory of Research we activate each of these actions with a pentagram and the keyword of The New Eon, “ Abrahadabra ”. For the Energizing and the Purifying each this is four vocalizations of the keyword. Each is then followed by returning to the heart of the magickal sphere and with closing statements and vocalizing once again “Abrahadabra ”. This brings the vocalizations of the keyword to the number of five, thus reenforcing the concept of the Pentagram, the Spirit influencing Matter.

um anagrama de sete silabas derivado de sete planetas atribuidos para o hexagrama. Esta

A.L.P. Notes on The Ritual of the Hexagram

In our esoteric schools, traditionally, after the Ritual of the Pentagram has been practiced for some time and the student has experience in influencing the elemental world of the Sphere of Earth and all this implies, we are introduced to the Ritual of the Hexagram and the influence of the Celestial Bodies.

The traditional symbol of hexagram consisting of two interwoven triangles represents the uniting of the opposites, symbolized by the Macrocosm ▲ and the Microcosm ▼, so we are reinforcing the unified relationship of all opposites as the Earth and the Heavens and, more specifically, all the aspects, elements, or parts of the Universe with the Primordial Light. This is an especially important concept as we ascend the Tree of Life and approach the Sphere of the Living Self and the Heart Chakra, where all forms in the Universe are connected as One Soul.

The concept of the Ritual of the Hexagram is to see the Universe as a Unity by combining the Macrocosm and the Microcosm and also combining the planets as one Unity. The Golden Dawn sealed this act with the word :

“ARARITA” = ( A R - A R I - T A )

which is a seven lettered anagram for the Hebrew sentence which means “One is His

Beginning: One is His Individuality: His Permutation is One ”.

In the spirit of The Abrahadabra Laboratory of Reaserch tradition of updating our rituals for ourselves and our targeted audience of students, we have developed a seven syllable anagram derived from the seven planets attributed to the Hexagram. This word is :

the beginning of which represents the planets of Saturn, Jupiter, and Mars ( above the sphere of the Self on the Tree of Life ), the central section of the word represents the Sun ( In the Center of the Tree ), and the end of the word represents Venus, Mercury, and Lua, ( Below the sphere of the Self on the Tree ). This infers and thus creates a current of energy from the Primal Light at the top to the Earth at the base in a unified motion, thus achieving the same formula as the Old Aeon word but with an updated formula based on our Latin languages and a more comprehensive illustration of the Tree of Life

of which it is representative.

In this ritual using the Unicursal Hexagram we invoke the seven planets attributed to the star, from Lua to Saturn, moving up the Tree and finish with The Sun to Unify the whole. We also repeat the word “Sajuma-Sol-Vemalu” seven times and unify the whole operation with The L.V.X. signs to create an explosion of astral light and seal with one “Abrahadabra”.

After the “Abrahadabra” facing East, To concentrate a meditation on a specific Sphere, Planet, or Astrological Sign one can add an additional repetition of the invoking hexagram of the Planet corresponding to that meditation. The symbol of the Planet is replaced by the symbol of the Astrological Sign when invoking the Zodiac.

Appendix A : L.V.X.

In The Abrahadabra Laborarory of Research The L.V.X. signs are used to visualize the

radiation of The Primordial Light. Annalists of this formula can be found in many places. It is said to be identical with the formulas of “ I.N.R.I.” and “ I. A. O.”, all of which represent and symbolize the cyclic formation of manifestation. Life-Death-Resurrection. The commentaries are numerous and we encourage the student to investigate and meditate. Intuitively, I have always used the gestures to visualize light radiating out from a central cross within the Heart chakra.
