COMENTÁRIO
A chave 18 do tarô refere-se à lua, que foi
deveria para lançar o orvalho. A adequação do capítulo título é óbvio.
O capítulo deve ser lido em conexão com capítulos 1 e 16.
No penúltimo parágrafo, Vindu é identificado com
Amrita e no último parágrafo, o discípulo é acusado de deixar
Ele tem sua própria maneira. Tem uma vontade própria, que é mais em
acordo com a vontade cósmica, do que a do homem que é seu guardião e servo.

DEWDROPS
Verily, love is death, and death is life to come.
Man returneth not again; the stream floweth not
uphill; the old life is no more; there is a new life
that is not his.
Yet that life is of his very essence; it is more He than
all that he calls He.
In the silence of a dewdrop is every tendency of his
soul, and of his mind, and of his body; it is the
Quintessence and the Elixir of his being. Therein
are the forces that made him and his father and
his father’s father before him.
This is the Dew of Immortality.
Let this go free, even as It.

COMMENTARY 
The 18th key of the Tarot refers to the Moon, which was
supposed to shed dew. The appropriateness of the chapter title is obvious.
The chapter must be read in connection with Chapters 1 and 16.
In the penultimate paragraph, Vindu is identified with
Amrita, and in the last paragraph the disciple is charged to let
it have its own way. It has a will of its own, which is more in
accordance with the Cosmic Will, than that of the man who is its guardian and servant.

invoca-se, "Eu invoke e imploramos, Ó mãe poderosa de toda a vida e a fertilidade. 

Por semente e raiz, pelo caule e bud, folha e flor e fruta, pela vida e pelo amor,

 eu invoco que descem para o corpodo teu servo e alta sacerdotisa [nome]."

A Lua, tendo sido desenhada para baixo,

ou seja, ligação esta belecida, Mago e outros homens dar beijo quíntuplo:

(beijar os pés) "Abençoado ser teus pés, que trouxeram ti dessas formas";

(beijar os joelhos) "Abençoado seja teus joelhos, que ajoelhar no altar sagrado";

(beijando o ventre) "Abençoado seja teu ventre, sem o qual não estaríamos";

(beijando os seios) "Abençoado seja teu peito, formado na beleza e na força";

(beijando os lábios) "Abençoados sejam teus lábios, que devem falem os nomessagrados."

Todas as mulheres se curvar.

Se lá ser uma iniciação, então neste momento, o mago e a sacerdotisa em deusaposição

(braços cruzados) diz que a carga enquanto o iniciado fica fora docírculo.

Drawing Down the Moon

(1949)

High Priestess stands in front of Altar, assumes Goddess position (arms crossed). Magus, kneeling in front of her, draws pentacle on her body with Phallus-headed Wand, invokes, "I Invoke and beseech Thee, O mighty Mother of all life and fertility. By seed and root, by stem and bud, by leaf and flower and fruit, by Life and Love, do I invoke Thee to descend into the body of thy servant and High Priestess [name]." The Moon having been drawn down, i.e., link established, Magus and other men give Fivefold Kiss:

(kissing feet) "Blessed be thy feet, that have brought thee in these ways";

(kissing knees) "Blessed be thy knees, that shall kneel at the sacred altar";

(kissing womb) "Blessed be thy womb, without which we would not be";

(kissing breasts) "Blessed be thy breasts, formed in beauty and in strength";

(kissing lips) "Blessed be thy lips, that shall speak the sacred names."

Women all bow.

If there be an initiation, then at this time the Magus and the High Priestess in Goddess position (Arms Crossed) says the Charge while the Initiate stands outside the circle.
